Is LPG safe to use as a road fuel ?
LPG has been used as a fuel in millions of vehicles all over the world. In the UK there are over 100,000 cars running on LPG. LPG is as safe as petrol if not more so for the following reasons:- • The LPG system and tanks we use are all UK and European LPG standards compliant. These standards include EN 67R01. Furthermore the tanks are tested to extremes of pressure and a test known as the “bonfire” test.
