Is mersyndol night strength/codeine safe during the last trimester of pregnancy?

I was told by my OB that i could take codeine during my 1st and 2nd trimester but i’m just wondering if it’s safe to take in the 3rd trimester because i know some medications can’t be taken that late in pregnancy. I was also wondering if mersyndol night strength is safe to take in the 3rd trimester, if at all.
