Is orientation mandatory?

0

Yes. At Schreiner University we believe that orientation is essential in assisting new students with their transition into college and SU. During orientation, new students meet with a faculty advisor to review course offerings and meet a variety of people from faculty and administrators to other new and current Schreiner students. Orientation will prepare you to become a true MOUNTAINEER.

Orientation is mandatory because it is so important. Not only will you have a chance to meet with you’re advisor, but you will also meet other new students. It’s a great way to learn about the campus, the faculty and staff, and the outstanding programs. You don’t want to miss Orientation at UMFK!

Orientation is essential for all incoming students. Students will meet with an advisor to discuss their degree plan and register for classes, but there is so much more. It is an opportunity to explore academics, campus life and begin developing important relationships with faculty, staff and students. There are also opportunities to hear important information and have all of your questions answered.
