Hi Harshini! I’m afraid Bombay misses this eclipse. The northern edge of the partial eclipse runs along a line from Dharwar to Nagpur to the Chinese border with Assam. Madras, Hyderabad and Calcutta see a small partial eclipse, but Delhi, Lucknow and Bombay do not. Patience, though! This July 22nd there is a total eclipse across northern India. Bombay misses the path of totality by about 200 km, but if you were to go to Surat, you’d be directly in the path of the total eclipse at 6:21 a.m. India Time. Hope the skies are clear! Don’t miss it!
