Is pine a good bedding for guinea pigs need help?
Pine bedding is fine as long as you have a wire cage so it gets good ventilation. I do have to admit that i have found the Carefresh is actually cheaper in the long run as it is far more absorbent and you do not have to use as much. Also it is very compact in the package and really fluffs up a lot when you take it out. My granddaughter does not like the odor of it so i put a layer of pine down with a layer of carefresh over it and this seems to be working well for us.
