Is prince synthetic gut poly blend any good?

I completely disagree that string type doesn’t matter as much as tension. Prince Synthetic Gut Poly blend is alright, it is a solid string with good durability, it lacks a bit of feel and can be a little hard on your elbow or shoulder. I think it plays well the first few times you hit with it, then after that it feels pretty dead. A lot of college players string with that, but they break a lot of strings, and restring their rackets very often even if the strings aren’t broken. I would recommend some of the multifilament synthetic gut, it has good durability and great playability, the closest thing one the market to natural gut and about half the price. Also I would stay away from Poly strings, they are tough on you arm, don’t have very much feel, even though they last forever. Who wants a string that will last if it doesn’t play very well. Hope this help, your racket will be great tomorrow, like I said it will play very well the first few days you hit with it. Good luck.
