Is sea water still used to make irkotta?

0

Irkotta used to be made using seawater. Today the use of sea water is no longer recommended due to risks of pollution. Instead MDP makes up its own alternative to sea water using clean and food grade fresh water, sodium chloride and calcium chloride, which are all found in normal seawater.
