No. The past “Basic” product is now positioned as Simply Accounting Pro because it provides all the tools you need to accelerate the growth of your business. First Step is our single user entry level accounting software package for entrepreneurs, small or home-based business owners who need to move to a simplified accounting software package. If you are currently using pen and paper method or a spreadsheet program, this is a great place to start. This product doesn’t have payroll nor inventory management. It provides easy to use tools to track revenues, expenses and tax.
