Sikkim Manipal University – Directorate of Distance Education (SMU – DE) has obtained an extension of its prior approval from the Distance Education Council (DEC) and is awaiting the final report from the Joint Committee of the DEC-UGC-AICTE post the Committee’s visit to our campuses in Gangtok and Manipal. All programs offered by Sikkim Manipal University – Directorate of Distance Education are recognized by Distance Education Council and hence the degree given is valid.
