StraighterLine is not a college, so it is not accredited. Accreditors will only review entities that provide full degree programs. However, StraighterLine’s partners are regionally accredited — the highest level of quality assurance. Also, the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) – an accreditor recognized by the federal Department of Education — has reviewed Straighterline’s courses and said that they meet or exceed their standards for online course quality. Lastly, the American Council of Education’s (ACE) Credit Recommendation Service has approved all of Straighterline’s courses.
