Sun has been involved in real-time Java since the beginning and will continue to invest strongly in this area as evidenced by the advanced features and observed performance of our latest Java RTS release (2.1), now also available for Linux (on x86) with real-time POSIX APIs. We are also very interested in your suggestions for features and enhancements that you would like to see in future implementations of Java RTS.
