Here is an instrument (MaestroGen UltraBright LED transilluminator) that can be used for both EtBr and SyBr safe dyes. The sensitivity for SyBr safe is great. For EtBr, the sensitivity is very good compared with 365 nm UV, a little bit weaker compared with 302 nm but enough. The following links are about the products.
