Is temporary dye bad for the hair?
While temporary type hair color is not harmful to your hair it can be difficult to get out. Temporary Hair color is meant to last 4-6 washes regardless of the brand but if your hair is previously colored or damaged it can take longer to wash out and can permanently tint the hair. Temporary color is meant to sit on the outside of the hair strand and not penetrate the cutical but if the hair is previously damaged the pigment will penetrate the strand easily. So it really depends on the condition of your hair before coloring, but no it should not damage your hair further. I do not recomend vegitable dyes in any case though. They cannot be lifted by chemicals and can cause severe damage and unwanted results if mixed with other chemicals later on.
