Is the £115 Silverstone F1 General Admission Ticket worth having?
If you have to park your car in a muddy field, having spent a couple of hours trying to park, then have to stand in pouring rain to watch a boring procession of cars driving round and round, then no i don’t think its worth £115 per ticket, particularly if you want to take your family, then its a really expensive day out. Not only that, but to be treated like animals by the marshals and herded around like cattle for the slaughter, no I’d never do it again. As for the best place to stand, well where ever the action is, if you can afford a pit pass, then that’s where I’d stand.
