I am not sure if it is meant only for officers, but do recall that it is used mainly with the Marines of all of the branches. I myself am getting married soon and my fiance is in the Army; the only way we are pulling the military into the wedding is that he will be wearing his dress blues – after all, if it were not for the military we would have never met. Cute story – just thought to share… you see, I had enlisted in the Army Guard and my fiance is an NCO at the unit that I was going to be reporting to for my weekend warrior drills.. except he is AGR … active duty… best kept secret of the military :)!! Well, to make a story short, we met and hung out before I was going to be leaving for my BCT, you see my date was several months out – we hit it off and well, he knocked me up! lol. I actually did not find out I was pregnant until half way through boot camp! (Unfortunately was unable to complete, so I took my discharge) – But my daughter is our wonderful little Army brat… she w
