Is the Commons Club transition tied to the transition of Shadow Wood Country Club? Are the transactions separate?
There was an advantage in negotiating the sale of the two clubs together so we presented a joint price. Therefore, both clubs must meet their membership retention goals to raise enough money to pay the joint price and to sustain ongoing operations. If either club does not raise enough money, neither club will be able to transition to member ownership. However, all aspects of the management, operations and financial oversight of the two clubs will be entirely separate after the transition is completed.
