Is the Immaculate Conception a holy day of obligation this year?

I have heard that the obligation has not transferred to Sunday and that the requirement is to attend Mass on Saturday and on Sunday – a friend of mine told me her priest made that clear in his announcements last week. I was just looking for that answer myself just to make sure. I know there was a vigil Mass last night but we didn’t make it there, and the Masses on Saturday mornings are generally too early for us to get going with our little ones. Our normal routine is to attend Mass on Saturday evening anyway, so we will go today and find out if we are supposed to go again tomorrow. I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but we are in the diocese of Dallas, TX. Hope that helps!
