A. Yes, the 96th Medical Group is ready. The facility already contains 39 clinical specialties, extensive training platforms, Constant Deployer Model, 35 medical/surgical beds, eight ICU beds, 10 LDRPs, and MRI, CT, X-Ray, lab and prescription services. Team Eglin also cultivates close relationships with community healthcare partners like the Okaloosa County Dispatch, Level II trauma care in Pensacola, Sacred Heart -AIRHeart, and Baptist -LifeFlight. The future: There are plans to build a troop medical clinic with staffing at the cantonment area to support the 7th SFG mission readiness.
