Is the mobile phone Bluetooth- and Internet-enabled?
First, make sure you have a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone that has the ability to connect to the Internet. Also, you may wish to make a test connection to the Internet on the phone itself, to ensure that everything is in working order. If you have problems connecting to the Internet on the phone, contact your mobile service provider. • Run the configurator: Your handheld comes with a built-in configurator for setting up a Bluetooth connection. Launch the Bluetooth application, which will walk you through the process. • Check distance: Position your handheld within about 10 meters (30 feet) of the Bluetooth-enabled phone. If the handheld does not detect the phone, you may wish to start out closer. Interfering factors such as walls, piping and other wireless devices may reduce the range. • Turn on mobile phone: Turn on the mobile phone, and turn on its Bluetooth option in “discoverable” mode.
