Is the new Narnia prince caspian film any good?
The new Prince Caspian film is every bit what I expected after reading the the entire series of books many times over as a kid years ago. I was really concerned that this film would do well as I think of the books this was probably the weakest one. The film does add an entire action sequence centred around King Miraz’ castle. I found this helped the story though, and really helped open up some of the characters, especially reepicheep who is spectacular in this (keep an eye out for a certain scene involving a cat – it is priceless). Skandar really proves himself in Prince Caspian. Like the other kids in the movie he has grown up a bit, and yet it is so appropriate for this film. My favourite parts have to be when he shows Trumpkin his sword skills early on, and when he puts on a knowing smirk in front of King Miraz during one of the face offs later on. He is definitely going to come into his own in the next film – Voyage of the Dawntreader. Prince Caspian is well worth the money, and I
