Our 100% cotton cover is water resistant and thick, so it is okay for outdoor use (rain, snow, shine). From a scale of 1-10, it received a 7 for water repellancy. A score of 7 means that during excessive exposure to rain there was very minimal water absorption beyond the cover face.
