Is the progesterone-only pill good for PMT? What are the side effects?
Progesterone settles a lot of hormonal probs, and worked excellently with my endometriosis, unfortunately the one side effect that I found really frustrating was a lot of weight gain I ballooned up by a full stone in 6 weeks. I voluntarily came off the drug as I couldn’t bear to put on any more weight. Progesterone would be a last ditch attempt if nothing else worked for your pmt, i.e. supplements containing vitamin b etc, go to a store such as holland and barrett, you will get something for hormonal inbalances , try this first before you decide to go for this drug.
