Yes, with Solaris 9 or 10. It is autodetected and enabled by default. If you use Xorg instead of Xsun graphics drivers, make sure you enable it when running xorgconfig. Or you can edit the Mouse section in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf Change “PS/2” to “IMPS/2” and add to it: Option “ZAxisMapping” “4 5” XSun, XFree86/Xorg, and Xi Graphics X Windows graphics card server software all support wheel mice. For earlier releases, use http://www.tools.de/solaris/ps2wheel/ for PS/2 and http://www.bolthole.com/solaris/drivers/usb-usbsm.html for USB mice.
