If you ask me it’s headed that way regardless of US politics…. 1.) Typical jobs are being replaced by technology…less work to go around….keep in mind technical advances double every two years or so. 2.) Fewer resources due to climate change…”globalization” to ensure survival of more people. I’m not saying I’m happy about it…just saying that seems to be the way it’s headed. By the way…the government controlling your every action is fascism. Socialism is just an economic system…but they do usually go hand in hand. (Kinda like imperialism/elitism and capitalism). A government with any economic system can be fascist. To be fair.
