Is the war by the West in Islamic countries same as the Medieval Crusades?

No, I don’t believe these wars are the same as the crusades. The crusades were holy wars waged by the Christians against virtually every religion that was not in agreement with them. Iraq and Afghanistan are political wars. Bush declared “war on terrorism” but only targeted these two countries; terrorism is not contained merely within the boundaries of two countries… it is global! The Bush family is one of the biggest terrorist groups the world has ever seen and yet nothing is done about them. The wars they waged were all about taking out “dangerous terrorists”. Of course they had nothing to do with the oil contracts, military supplies, and political power involved in controlling a foreign nation……………did they?

What is your question?
