Is there a Conquer the World mode like in Rise of Nations?
There is a Conquer the World mode in Rise of Legends, however it will be somewhat altered from the Rise of Nations version. The Conquer the World mode in Rise of Legends can be described as this. Basically you attack territories that are under control by enemies, and then you fight for that territory. When you gain territories you can add districts to them just like in the actual gameplay and these will help you reasearch new units, upgrade units, upgrade heroes and starting units. So you have a games inside of one large Conquer the World mode game.
