Is there a difference between a satanist and satan worshiper?
No one worships Satan. The FBI did intensive studies in 1999 to find if there ever were people who worship Satan. They conclusively found there was little to no evidence of the claims. They even broke down old claims into what they actually were such as a Christian witnessing a pagan ritual and declaring it satanic.
There are several types The most common are the Church of Satan. They are followers of the philosophy of Anton LeVay. They don’t literally believe in God or Satan, but use Satan as a symbol and to mock the religious who go against human nature. They do believe in the Christian God, but feel that he is only one of many gods and that he lies about his place. They believe that Satan is the real creator of the Universe and the real force for good.
