Is there a difference between size 24 months and 2T in toddler clothing?

There is def. a difference between 24 month clothing and toddler 2T clothing. For one many clothing manufacturers will have infant clothing sizes meaning 0-3-6-9-12-18-24-36 month. And then they will begin their toddler size where they will have 2T 3T 4T etc. The infant size are commonly designed to accommodate a diaper better. Many times in the infant sizes meaning “month” you will still find snap crotches whereas you won’t with a 2T. Not always but most generally. 24 month clothing are often shorter legged than a 2T. 24 month usually refers more to an 18-24 month size. That is why when you buy something that is 12M it looks and fits so small. It is actually a 6-12 month or a 9-12 month. I hope I am making sense here for you. By the time a child is 1 or 2 they stretch out much more than a younger child.
