Is there a downdraft kitchen vent that fits behind a slide-in gas range?

I am trying to put in a new kitchen range in my kitchen island. To fit the space, it must be a 30″ slide-in model (it has no backsplash/riser – just flush with the counter top.) Currently it is an electric jenn-air with built-in downdraft venting. I have found a new gas range with a self-cleaning convection oven that I would like to purchase, the problem is venting. All the add-on downdraft vents seem to be manufactured for cooktops and extend forward into the cabinet area under the cooktop. I need to find a vent that has a remote fan (it can be mounted under or on the side of the house) so that it won’t stick into the area that the range will occupy. It doesn’t need to be one of the fancy pop-up styles, either, just something that will vent my kitchen well. It can be a maximum of 6 inches deep (front to back.) If I can’t find one pre-built, I need to find the proper parts to build my own – grill, grease-catchers, kitchen vent rated fan. I can do the assembly and ducting myself. Best a
