Is there a firewall on ResNet? Does this mean that I can not run a web server, or access hosts outside NYU, etc.? Will I need to log into a proxy server?

There is a firewall between ResNet and the rest of NYU-NET. This should not prevent any ResNet user from running a standard web server, and it should not have any impact on everyday web browsing and other common Internet services.
