hi mate since most of the stock coolers that come with todays high end graphic cards are either 1) very noisy or 2) dont cool the gpu very efficently then a replacement vga cooler is becoming a more common solution with gamers allthough the ati HD4870 has not got a specific replacement cooler the Thermalright HR-03-GT VGA Cooler from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduc… will work fine with the HD4870,it supports the previous ati range 3xxx series plus the majority of geforce 6,7 and 8 series cards another option is the excellent and highly universal Thermalright V2 Copper VGA Cooler(http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduc… works with any 80m
