Is there a place in San Francisco that will rent cars to 18 year olds?
I know it is possible, so don’t post that it is not. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. BTW its for business purposes so a car is a necessity. A: I have to say that, in the state of California, it is illegal for an individual under the age of 21 to rent a vehicle. That being said, since it is for business purposes, I would try asking your supervisor to write you a letter that states that you require a vehicle for business. After you have that, I would contact the airport/bus station/train station you will be arriving in to see what kinds of rental offices are available, tell them your situation, fax them the letter and see what you can work out. I think that your best bet would be with a non-corporate, privately-owned company, but since I do not know exactly where you will be coming in I can’t give you any specific recommendations (sorry).
