A tutorial will be available at the testing center and online to help candidates become familiar with the computer-based testing (CBT) format. GED Testing Service is also preparing materials to help GED instructors and examiners become familiar with the CBT format; much of this information will be shared and further developed with jurisdictions involved in each cohort of CBT PHASE 2. The GED Policy and Procedures Manual will be updated to include specific instructions for administering the GED Tests via computer.
