Aeronautical data and information to be used in the Advanced Mission Display System(AMDS) is not vendor specific, in that airlines are free to choose their own aeronautical data supplier. The licensing of individual data providers is a matter for the airlines to determine as part of the overall acquisition process. Flight Focus is able to advise on ways to optimise aeronautical & weather data delivery in the context of Advanced Mission Display System(AMDS), and can arrange for the delivery of standard data sources, if so desired by the customer. Flight Focus has an underlying requirement that aeronautical data and information used within the Advanced Mission Display System(AMDS) must only be taken from State or other authorised sources, and is protected during storage and transit, in keeping with the requirements of ICAO Annex 15.
