IS THERE A SQUATTER IN NUMBER 10?
No. First of all, Gordon Brown doesn’t live in No. 10, but in No. 12. And, as is often the case with the “rags”, they are more interested in simplistic hyperbole than fact. After all, there are constitutional precedents for the current situation. And, for the time being, Gordon Brown will continue to be Prime Minister. The Queen will probably give the different party leaders up to a week to see if they can come up with an arrangement. Until such time, Brown will continue to be the PM. When the picture is more clear-cut, we’ll all know who the next PM is. In the meantime, the “rags” might like to try something they’re unaccustomed to doing; reporting the news.
