Is there a way to edit the AMPS Narrative Report?
The AMPS Narrative Report is meant to assist with interpretation of an AMPS evaluation. The AMPS computer-scoring software serves the purpose of converting a client’s raw scores for at least two tasks into linear ability measures, while simultaneously adjusting those ability measures for the challenge of the tasks the client performed and the severity of the examiner who scored the client’s performance. It was not designed to be a word processor. In other words, it does not provide a method for editing the Narrative Report. The Narrative Report should be used as an example from which the individual therapist can write his or her own reports in the documentation system or word processor of choice.
