Is there an American Investigations firm based in Lansing Michigan?
There are “American Investigations” outfits scattered all over the country, literally from New Jersey to California. But I turned up nothing in Lansing. No phone, no Web records. Lexis-Nexis company search produces dossiers for three companies called “American Investigations” — one in OK, one in TN, one in TX. The one in TX, at least, is a 5 mil/year company with 200 employees, and could be big enough to have additional offices, but who can say if that’s the same one? I’m inclined to doubt it. There’s a Mid-American Investigations in Indiana, but nothing else even remotely close geographically. It’s possible that the company is small, and just doesn’t register on the radar, but that seems unlikely.
