In addition to photography, I have a very personal interest in horticulture and I am seeking to upgrade my existing greenhouse structure so that it can be a sustainable earth friendly structure. The 20′ x 48′ greenhouse is attached to a 20′ x 14′ cellar which is almost entirely underground. It is my theory that it should be possible to collect solar energy and store it underground until it is needed in the winter but I am unaware of any existing systems or feasibility studies about storing heat energy. It would seem to me that this system if it could be made to work could have far reaching applications. Thanks for your assistance.
