Victims Support offers practical and emotional support to people affected by crime. Victim Support can be contacted at any point before, during or after a trial. They offer home visits, telephone support and office based appointments in their Edinburgh premises on 0131 668 2556. The Witness Service is a court-based facility, which offers practical and emotional support to all witnesses and their families before, during and after they give evidence. You can contact them at any time for support, information, or pre trial court visits on 0131 220 1550. Both Services are free, confidential and independent and are provided by trained volunteers and staff.
