Is there any chance of getting a Prismatic Singleton selection for deck building and games?
This is a very popular format for casual play as well. MG: I don’t know. We do plan on supporting a reasonable number of casual play formats, and routinely monitor the number of game starts for specific formats. Which formats actually deploy is still TBD. EF: And of course there’s the PDC format that is finally, at long last, getting a real event. Has WotC settled on a format (Standard, Extended, Classic) and a banned list? MG: Specific work on the official-casual PDC format hasn’t started yet. When it does, we will definitely be talking with the players that created and support this format to hear what they have to say. I can say that we are currently leaning towards this being a Classic format though nothing is set yet. EF: How many people have had to ‘sign off’ on PDC’s event being added? This has been years in the making. Is it safe to assume that there were a lot of people that needed to be on board? MG: Supporting different formats has to make business sense at the end of the day
