Is there any evidence that Jesus existed, apart from the Bible?
How can we be sure that Buddha really existed or Zoroaster or Mohammed? we never met any of these and yet we would be made to look and feel foolish by even suggesting that they were ficticious characters, what you do have though is written historical accounts and these alone suffice for confirmation, and yet the historical Jesus is denied this even though there is greater written evidence for Him than these others! The Zoroastrian scriptures were not put into writing until after the (3rd century A.D) and the Parsi biography of Zoroaster was not completed until the year (1278 A.D): As for Buddha who lived in the (6th century BC), his teachings were not written down until well after the Christian era while the first biography of Buddha was only written in the (1st century AD) and Mohammed(A.D 570-632) had nothing at all written about him until (767 A.D) more than a hundred years after his death.
