Is there any one thing that maintains a good friendship?
I think a friendship,or any relationship for that matter must be maintained,by nourishing it like you would a plant,(plant needs water to live)you can’t take a friendship for granted and expect it to maintain itself,like you wouldn’t go on vacation for 2 weeks and expect your garden to be thriving when you got home.A little effort goes along way I believe,making a plan to make plans say once a week or a month or whatever fits in to each persons schedule is crucial to keep the friendship thriving,not breaking those plans if at all possible(because you want to paint the house instead)and blowing the other person off.I cherish my good friends,and I expect the same.(I was blown off by my best friend 10 years ago,for a paint job)We had plans for 4 weeks in advance I was fuming,to me it said “you can sit on the back burner because we’ve been best friends for 20 years,I’m anal and want to be Martha Stewart and paint my kitchen???
