Is there any relation between volcano and earthquake?

I’d say that there are earthquakes associated with volcanism, but earthquakes are not going to “cause” a volcano to form. It’s possible they might trigger an eruption, but I think it’s usually the other way around: magma moving upward through the ground causes earthquakes.
