Is there a convergence or divergence of values, or the creation of a unique set of values when communism adjusts to Western capitalist influences? Cultural values control the way we do things and this brief presentation argues that Western economic theory can be dynamically linked to Chinese business strategies, creating a universal interpretation and closing the perceived chasm between East and West. Global business (and politics) can gain through agreeing a common understanding rather than arguing over ideological differences.
