Windows CE version 2.0 introduced the WNet APIs that allow browsing of file resources on Windows NT and Windows 95 -based machines. In Windows CE version 2.1, support was added to enable browsing of print resources as well. The SMB redirector component is based on the Windows NT LM .12 SMB specs.
