Is this another example of Dartington doing what they want without consulting people?
We have wanted to be as open and involving as possible in this project. Why? Because we know that the result will be far better if we find out and use other people’s ideas (we’ve had some great ones over the eighteen months we have been talking with members of the public, including to make provision for a Community Garden and for communal cooking). We know that there are so many people who desperately want a provision of this kind and we want to ensure that they have access to accurate and up-to-date information. We have had a set of webpages for the project for nearly two years where people can catch up, register interest (and so get regular news, including Newsletters) and write comments. There are activities running already which are well publicised, and there will be more opportunities to engage as the project develops.
