SECURITRE provides its own Real-time Monitor, which allows a Security Administrator to perform many functions on-line. The SECURITRE Real-time Monitor allows the user to display SECURITRE parameter settings, reset one or all users’ entries in the internal tables, reload parameters, etc. TRIM is not a requirement for SECURITRE. However, the TRIM Real-time Monitor can report certain performance statistics about SECURITRE. TRIM can also display recent SECURITRE violations by several categories, including User-ID, NATURAL SECURITY Application, etc. If you wish to view these TRIM statistics, then TRIM is required. Using Top Secret, it is possible to view the violation information for all resources protected by Top Secret. This includes the resources protected by SECURITRE. It is not necessary to have TRIM to view these statistics.
