Isn Bootsy with P-Funk?
Well, yes and no. While Bootsy is definitely a part of the large Parliament-Funkadelic family (including artists like the Brides of Funkenstein and Sweat Band), the last time he was an official member of either Parliament or Funkadelic was in the early 70s. He toured with Funkadelic around 1972 and recorded on that year’s America Eats Its Young, though he’s made appearances on Parliament and Funkadelic albums ever since. He has also toured with the P-Funk All-Stars for stints in the 80s and 90s. However, Bootsy has his own thing called Bootsy’s Rubber Band (part of the P-Funk family).
