Isn hitch-hiking dangerous?
Hitch-hiking doesn’t come without risks, we would be irresponsible to say otherwise, however Link realise this and make the safety of all their hitchers their number one priority. There are various safety measures in place including a tracking system where by the location of each hitch group is monitored at intervals throughout the hitch, and this is published on Links website to allow friends and family to track your progress. Also Link is in contact with the British Consulates in all the countries that you’ll be travelling through, and they are fully aware of the hitch. The full safety proceedure will be explained at a health and safety meeting before you depart.
