Yes it is, and that’s good critical thinking! Yes, these anecdotes don’t really “prove” anything. However, many proponents of unsupportable information will offer only anecdotes in support. When you encounter someone pushing bad information, perhaps you can offer some of these stories in reply. It’s not a true rebuttal, but it might get their attention! That having been said, we do attempt to limit the stories we post here to ones that can be documented well, either with extensive mainstream media coverage or scientific research.
